Big-city sophistication, small-town charm and southern hospitality are just a few of the qualities that help define the wonderful Cleveland County community.  From the foothills of the South Mountains to the pristine beauty of the Broad River, Cleveland County has a lot to offer both residents and visitors.  Our tourism slogan “Scenic Pleasures, Historic Treasures” says it all.  The Cleveland County Chamber is the first point of contact for many visitors and newcomers, and the organization is committed to the enhancement of travel & tourism as a form of economic development.  The goals and objectives of the Travel & Tourism Division of the Chamber include but are not limited to:  increasing the county’s visibility as a travel destination; promoting awareness of Cleveland County as a place to visit, meet, and engage in recreation; raising the standards of hospitality services that visitors receive in Cleveland County; and publishing collateral materials such as calendar of events, visitor’s guide, meeting planner, and more.
