Membership Services Division
Like most Chambers across the country,
the Cleveland County Chamber is comprised mostly of
small business members. In fact, small businesses
make significant contributions to our local and
national economy. According to the U.S. Small
Business Administration, they employ more than 50
percent of the private work force, generate half of
the nation's gross domestic product, and are the
principal source of new jobs in the U.S. economy.
The Chamber is committed to providing these member
businesses with a variety of opportunities to
increase productivity, expand networking prospects,
and promote a healthy Cleveland County economy.
Many of these business leaders take full advantage
of both their membership in the Chamber and other
resources in the community. The Membership
Services Division is charged with member relations
and support. The Vice President of Membership
Services is the staff liaison for this division,
which is supported by key leadership within the
Ambassadors Club, the Special Events committee, the
Membership Development Committee, and the Small
Business Council. Recruitment and retention efforts
are a function of this division, along with group
benefits and monthly networking events.
