The
20/20 Economic Development Partnership
Members of the Economic Development
Partnership are
appointed by the public partners including Cleveland
County, City of Kings Mountain, City of Shelby,
Cleveland County Sanitary District, and the Town of
Boiling Springs. Members are given the opportunity
to provide assistance and support as needed to the
Chamber’s Senior Vice President of Economic
Development for the implementation of the Chamber’s
economic development strategy. The group is charged
with representing the views and concerns of the
government entity which appointed him/her to the
council. The members also review and approve or
reject proposals to strengthen county industrial
incentive policies for all economic development
projects requesting local financial incentives and
prepared by the Chamber staff liaison. Other more
specific economic development functions are handled
by Chamber staff members including the President,
Vice President of Economic Development, Assistant
Vice President of Economic Development, and the
Director of Marketing & Communications.
