Travel Council serves as the “round table” for all the organizations, attractions and event coordinators of Cleveland County.  Everyone shares a meal together and updates the other groups about each organizations plans, events and issues.  Having a council where everyone has the same goals in mind and can share ideas, frustrations and build partnerships is a wonderful asset for Cleveland County.  Meetings begin at 12:00 noon and end by 1:30 pm.  Mark your calendars now for the 2008 meeting dates:

January 29 – Shelby City Park, Carrousel Pavilion, lunch sponsorship opportunity available
April 29 – Hallelujah Acres, lunch provided by host
July 29 – Slightly Different Nursery or Harvest Works, lunch sponsorship opportunity available
October 28 - host location and lunch sponsorship opportunity available

Lunch is sponsored by Chamber member businesses and is always from a food service member in the county.  Sponsorship is $200 and interested organizations should contact Jackie at Jackie@ClevelandChamber.org or (704) 487-8521.

Brochure Display Space Available
Profile Display will be building a beautiful Information and Resource Display for the new Visitor Information Center at Cleveland Mall.  This is certainly an opportunity for you to make a great “first impression” to our area visitors.  A 3-minute video presentation is available from Profile Display to give an example of the process of advertising your business at the new Visitor Information Center.  Review this information as quickly as possible, since this opportunity is on a first-come basis! www.profilemediagroup.com/profiledisplaymoviechamber

Sponsorship of Events
Several major events will be happening in 2008.  Community involvement and local business support are essential to the success of Cleveland County events. Sponsorship of area events is a great way to showcase your business and show your community support.  Levels of support vary for each organization and will fit into any budget.  Contact Jackie at Jackie@ClevelandChamber.org or (704) 487-8521 to find out about upcoming events.
