Text Box: InterAction Text Box: Put Your Membership to Work The chamber has over 700 members on its roles.  Each one is working very hard to make their business grow and prosper.  In tough economic times, such as the one we are now experiencing, business owners are looking for any way to keep customers coming through the door.  That’s where your chamber membership can pay big dividends. As a benefit of being a member, you are entitled to one free e-mail blast a year.  Have you used yours?  This e-mail blast provides you with an opportunity to put your business in front of over 700 people.  How much would it cost you to get your name in front of 700 people?  By using your chamber membership, it cost you nothing.  What do you have to lose?  Just a little time in designing your message.  Pretty inexpensive. Have you looked into the chamber’s affinity programs?  Check out our web site and see if there might be an affinity program that will save you money.  Cost cutting efforts can keep your doors open.  Check it out. Another service we offer to our members is the Member-to-Member Discount program.  This program gives you the ability to not only save money but to drive customers to your business.  Check our website and see what discounts some of our Chamber members are offering to fellow members.  If you utilize some of the discounts, you could actually pay for your yearly investment.  Another way to use the Member- to-Member discount program it to offer a discount to your fellow members.  This pulls customers into your business.  It becomes a win-win situation.  More customers in your store, more dollars in your pocket. These are only a few ways you can put your membership to work for you.  The networking opportunities are another great chance to improve your customer base.  Just keep in mind that your chamber membership offers you many opportunities to increase your business.  Don’t just set there – USE THEM.
