Marketing & Communications Division
This division is charged with the broad
objective of marketing the Chamber and Economic
Development to internal audiences (Cleveland County
residents, businesses, and Chamber members) and
external audiences (newcomers, guests, and economic
development prospects). Marketing the strengths and
assets of Cleveland County to these various target
audiences is certainly a challenging task, however,
there are several tools at this division’s disposal
to assist in the endeavor. The Director
Marketing & Communications serves as the staff
liaison for the goals and objectives of the
division. A wide range of programs, events, and
communications are the responsibility of the
Marketing & Communications Division, including the
electronic newsletter, the web site, the Cleveland
County Area Map, “The Buck Stops Here… Buy Locally”
marketing initiative, and the Quality of Life
magazine. Most recently, the division has worked to
improve and enhance the marketing component of the
“Focus: Cleveland” economic development strategy.
